Nonie is an Austrian singer-songwriter, with her artist project focusing on German indie pop. Her music blends intimate lyrics with modern pop arrangements, carried by a clear and emotionally resonant voice. Inspired by artists such as Dani Lia, Schmyt, Ivo Martin and Jassin, her songs explore what life in your early twenties feels like: closeness, transition and the courage to follow one’s own path.
After finishing school, Nonie moved to the UK to study at the renowned Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Music with a focus on songwriting, performance, production and composition. She graduated with distinction and was selected as one of seven students from her year for a one-to-one songwriting session with Sir Paul McCartney.
Over the past years, Nonie has built extensive live experience, performing at venues such as the legendary Cavern Club Liverpool, Boxpark Liverpool, and the 2ube Xtra Festival, as well as numerous gigs and open mics across Liverpool and Innsbruck. In 2025, she supported Austrian pop band Tagtraeumer on their tour stops in Innsbruck and Dornbirn. Further performances included festivals and cultural events such as Anpruggen Fest and community-based showcases.
Alongside her own artist project, Nonie is also a songwriter, working in both German and English. She is particularly valued for her lyrical sensitivity and strong narrative instinct. After three years in England, she relocated to Vienna in autumn 2025 to establish herself within the German and Austrian music scene.
Driven, focused and artistically clear, Nonie is steadily carving out her place in contemporary German pop.
Nonie ist eine österreichische Singer-Songwriterin. Ihre Songs verbinden intime Lyrics mit modernen Pop-Arrangements und einer klaren, emotionalen Stimme. Inspiriert von Artists wie Dani Lia, Schmyt, Ivo Martin und Jassin erzählt sie davon, wie es sich anfühlt, in seinen 20ern zu sein – von Nähe, Umbrüchen und dem Mut, den eigenen Weg zu gehen.
Nach ihrer Matura zog Nonie nach England und absolvierte am renommierten Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) ihren Bachelor of Arts in Musik mit den Schwerpunkten Songwriting, Performance, Produktion und Komposition. Sie schloss ihr Studium mit ausgezeichnetem Erfolg ab und wurde als eine von sieben Studierenden ihres Jahrgangs für eine exklusive 1:1 Songwriting Session mit Sir Paul McCartney ausgewählt.
Live sammelte Nonie in den vergangenen Jahren umfangreiche Bühnenerfahrung – unter anderem im legendären Cavern Club Liverpool, im Boxpark Liverpool, beim 2ube Xtra Festival sowie bei zahlreichen Gigs und Open Mics in Liverpool und Innsbruck. 2025 eröffnete sie außerdem die Tour der österreichischen Band Tagtraeumer in Innsbruck und Dornbirn. Weitere Auftritte führten sie unter anderem zum Anpruggen Fest und zu verschiedenen Kultur- und Community-Events.
Neben ihrem eigenen Artist-Projekt ist Nonie auch als Songwriterin tätig. Sie schreibt auf Deutsch und Englisch und wird besonders für ihr Gespür für Sprache und Melodie geschätzt. Nach drei Jahren in England zog sie im Herbst 2025 nach Wien, um sich langfristig in der deutsch-österreichischen Musikszene zu etablieren.
Mit klarem künstlerischem Profil, großer Zielstrebigkeit und einem ausgeprägten Fokus auf Texte arbeitet Nonie daran, sich nachhaltig im deutschsprachigen Pop zu positionieren.
